Simatupang Prayer Room

The Simatupang Prayer Room was built in a rest area, with a simple set of zoning. The ground floor was designed for public spaces, while the first floor caters for semi-private and private functions. The prayer area can be reached through the sloping ramp that goes as long as the facade. Responding to the local climate and humidity, the prayer room was completed with small openings for airflow that also forms the facade expression of the building.
