The Secret Garden Village is an architectural promenade for an agricultural compound that stands on top of the rural mountains of Bali, with a variety of programs. Ranging from a herbalist museum to coffee-making laboratory, it contains activities for education and tourism on agricultural studies for enthusiasts and the general public. The building complex consists of four main blocks for different functions. The amplified sloping of the roof form is a translation that follows the nature of the site’s topography while also storing additional utilities. The architecture of Secret Garden Village is a retelling of what Indonesian stage-houses could be in the middle of its beautiful natural site, with a set of pathways that continually cut across its inner sphere.
