As part as the revitalization of the Ramayana Dome, the Ramayana Square went on a renovation since it was built in 1950. The pool’s function has been restored, making its extension as a reflecting pond to give nuance to the dome itself. The choice of oval as its shape serves as a transition between the hotel building’s box form to the dome. To reduce the noise of the highway, the fountain becomes an addition to the square, creating a playful mood in the area. In this renovation, the square has finally been opened to the public, after being a part of the Kempinski Hotel.
