Potato Head Beach Club

Located at the seaside of Petitenget Beach, the Potato Head Beach Club welcomes you at the end of a long narrow driveway. Inspired by the Colosseum, the curving shape of the building welcomes the natural view of from the inside, while hiding in plain sight from the outside. The whole building was completed by local craftsman and artisans. The building’s facade was made out of 6600 antique windows and shutters from the that was collected from all over Indonesia. The patchwork of windows has different forms and sizes covering the building, retaining its original vibrant color. The beach club was designed with an open plan, to maximize the user’s experience with the view, and use of natural light. The use of mezzanine created more space and leveling in the building.
